Founded in 2013 by Jeff Jiao and a team of visionary co-founders, Shanghai FRAME DESIGN ARCHITECTS (FDA) has become a trusted name in global design, known for its innovative and customized solutions. Our expertise spans Building Planning, Interior Architecture, Landscape Design, and Interior Design & Decoration, with over 100 projects completed across 500,000 square meters, including high-profile hotels, office spaces, and mixed-use developments in China, many of which have received IDA Design Awards.
Expanding into the Asia-Pacific region under the brand FrameDG, we now operate in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Driven by our motto, “Beyond Design, Tailoring to Your Needs,” we are committed to capturing each client’s unique vision through tailored solutions.
Our comprehensive services cover every project phase—from Design and Planning to Budget Control, Construction, and Interior Styling. Additionally, we specialize in Hotel Renovation, Commercial Renovation, and Second-Hand Property Renovation. Jeff Jiao, a seasoned interior designer with a degree in Interior Design from Donghua University, brings over 20 years of experience from leading design firms in China and Singapore, including MY Studio SH., Design People HK., Cynosure Design SG., and FRAME DG PTE. LTD. Known for integrating traditional cultural elements with modern aesthetics, Jeff adopts a research-driven approach that blends thoughtful planning with rigorous execution.
His design philosophy centers on creating impactful, resonant spaces, achieved through meticulous research and detailed, rational planning. This dedication to precision and cultural preservation is at the core of his design ethos.
OUR PARTNERS
Rachel Chan Siew Wei is a distinguished interior designer with over two decades of experience across architecture and interior design in Singapore and Malaysia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design (Honors) with a focus on Design and Management from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and a Diploma in Architecture (Planning and Design) from P.J. Community College. Her unique expertise seamlessly integrates architectural foundations with creative interior solutions, producing spaces that are structurally sound and visually compelling.
Rachel has worked with leading firms, including Christopher Guy and FRAME DG PTE. LTD., where she has proven her ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. Her design philosophy is deeply thoughtful, viewing design as a transformative force that influences human interaction with space. To Rachel, design extends beyond aesthetics; it’s a medium that shapes experiences and conveys values.
Describing her work as a balance between technical precision and artistic sensitivity, Rachel approaches each project with meticulous attention, much like a cosmetic surgeon perfecting detail to meet clients' unique visions. Through rigorous research and purposeful planning, she ensures her designs harmonize beauty and utility, creating environments that resonate with clients on both visual and experiential levels.
